I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years of experience in private practice. I recently relocated to Santa Barbara, California and am developing a small practice to serve families, children, teens and adults. I specialize in evaluating and treating individuals with learning disabilities, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, obsessive compulsive anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress and complex neuro-behavioral and medical conditions. I am well trained in providing patient centered, evidence based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, distress management, anger management, coping skills development and dialectic behavioral treatment.

I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Ohio State University, completed my Residency in Clinical Psychology at the University of Virginia Medical Center and went on to a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics and Child  Psychiatry at the University of Maryland Medical School. After my training, I spent years training Pediatricians, Family Practice Physicians and Psychiatrists as an Associate Professor at University of California, San Francisco. I developed a private practice in Clinical Psychology specializing in children, teens,  families and adults, based in Fresno. When Covid began, I moved to Santa Barbara and developed a thriving online tele-therapy practice. In addition to my experience as a therapist, I am a teacher, an advocate, a developmentally and family focused clinician and a grateful husband and father. I enjoy seeing a broad range of patients with diverse backgrounds and needs.
